Kobodaishi is a digital interpretation and expansion of the Electra typeface, originally designed by W.A. Dwiggins. Unlike other digitizations of Electra on the market, this version includes separate ‘optical size’ variants for use at many different sizes – from Micro to Display. As with the original Electra family, it maintains consistent ‘multiplexed’ glyph widths between weights and postures of each optical size, allowing for stylistic changes (e.g. from Regular to Bold or Italic) without text reflowing.
